I'm Milly, and I like to think I'm an affectionate character.  Well I am, really ! Towards humans that is. I have some trouble keeping the rest of the canine family under control, and have been known to resort to the occasional nip on the ear.

I'm a cross between a maremmano (Italian Sheep Dog) and a retriever. I am often called either Bella (beautiful) - I like that, or Wool-uf (for wolf)

Let me introduce the rest of the family:

There was Duster, who dies on 30th November 2007. I know that Anne will miss sadly. On 12th June 2007 the cat, Peds, also died.

We had three other three (litt-luns) that were  "abandoned" Italian mongrels. Minnie is the only one left, abandoned in Frascati.  Dupps was found in Palestrina in a very bad state, died over Christmas 2007, when Anne was away. The other litt-lun was Smokie (who died in 2006) who adopted us.

We just love having people visiting, although we can be a bit noisy and boisterous, but it only lasts for the first few minutes. We will welcome you, just call Anne if you want to stay with us. Or you can write directly to me, just click here:  MillyMail

ps My mistress has taken in two other abandoned dogs, I think she is aiming to emulate Battersea Dogs home. One's called Chuckie (who dies in 2007), and the other is called Moysha, in light of the black eye patch. She's also known as Dilly Daydream

Then, Oh my gosh, suddenly another one. Mind you he's a handsome looking fella, a bit young maybe (the vet said he was only 6 months when he turned up) I think he may have been a Christmas present, and just outgrew the house. He (Bruno) absconded in March 2008, haven't seen him since. I hope he found a good home. Then, just after St Patrick's day, whilst looking for Bruno, Anne came back with another lad, called him Paddy, and he's now a part of the family
