The Rooms

Tastefully appointed rooms, all with private modern bathrooms, and with views over the hills of Prenestina. One bedroom has a large cool terrace, but the terraces of the main house overlook the olives, where you can relax with English tea, Italian coffee, or imbibe a glass of the local vino (the white being well chilled and very drinkable, and the red eminently quaffable). A "communal" minibar is available well stocked with soft drinks, mineral water, wine and beer.  Come and join us.

Halfway down the stairs
This was Duster, who dies on 30th November 2006. He wasn't allowed up the stairs !	Halfway down the stairs Is a stair where I sit: There isn't any other stair quite like it. I'm not at the bottom, I'm not at the top: So this is the stair where I always stop. Halfway up the stairs Isn't up, and isn't down. It isn't in the nursery, it isn't in the town: And all sorts of funny thoughts Run round my head: "It isn't really anywhere! It's somewhere else instead!" The Lounge	The lounge has comfortable seating, and a television with satellite reception, and a selection of videos and DVDs for your entertainment
